Seraph-Eden Boroditsky is Red River Métis, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and is the first Indigenous Arts Leadership Fellow at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg. The fellowship involves professional development in various areas of arts administration, and contributing to the institution’s understanding of Indigenous issues in Canada so as to help them participate meaningfully in Truth and Reconciliation through cultural competency and knowledge exchange. She studied Native Studies and Sociology at the University of Manitoba and has spent most of her career in grassroots organizing and activism, youth program development and management, and community outreach. She has an emerging visual arts practice as well as a background in classical dance styles, traditional Métis folk dance, cultural dance instruction, and professional performance.”
