Rob Gloor
Rob Gloor is a 25 year veteran of arts management. With degrees in both Music and Business, Rob’s early career experience included senior roles in the fields of orchestral music, choral music, opera, and performing arts centres in Ontario, Alberta and BC. After moving to Vancouver in 2009, Gloor established an arts management consulting practice working across arts disciplines, and from 2012 to 2016 he led the BC Alliance for Arts and Culture, a province-wide arts advocacy association.
Gloor is currently Executive Director of the Kay Meek Centre for the Performing Arts in West Vancouver and makes his home on nearby Bowen Island. He serves on the boards of the BC Association for Charitable Gaming, the Pacific Legal Education and Outreach Society, the Society to Bridge Arts and Community, and the Artspoints Foundation.
