Dominga Robinson is a Jamaican / Nakota woman from the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation in Southeast Saskatchewan. She has been working with community programming for over 15 years. Her past has worked has included serving as the Cultural and Ceremonies Manager for the 2014 North American Indigenous Games and she has served as the Indigenous Program Coordinator with the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild. Dominga also served as a Board Member and Vice President of the Regina Aboriginal Professionals Association for a number of years which is responsible for initiating National Aboriginal History Month in Canada. She has been involved in the theatre world since the young age of 8 and in that time has directed the Vagina Monologues (2008) and had her play, Two Spirits, produced by the First Nations University’s and University of Regina Theatre’s Indigenous Performance Production program in 2012. Currently, Dominga works as an Outreach Consultant with SaskCulture.
