Dawn Brennan, M. A., has a background in leadership positions in arts organizations and arts service organizations. She also provides Consulting and Organizational Development services to a wide range of cultural and non-profit organizations. Currently Managing Director at Urban Ink, an Indigenous and Intercultural theatre company, her work experience includes roles as the Executive Director or General Manager of Actsafe Safety Association, Vancouver Playhouse Theatre Company, and the Vancouver International Writers Festival, among others.

The recipient of a Canada Council John Hobday Award in Arts Management, and the Mary Phillips Prize for Unsung Heroes, Dawn is a graduate of the National Theatre School, with a Masters in Leadership (Royal Roads) and certifications in Public Participation (International Association for Public Participation), Non-Profit Organization Management (Vancouver Community College) and Management Development for Arts Administrators (Banff Centre for the Arts). A long-time volunteer with Big Sisters of the Lower Mainland, Dawn has sat on numerous Boards of Directors. She is a member of www.artsconsultants.ca.
